She is also the Chairperson of the American Indian Communities Leadership Council which promotes cultural educational programming for Native Students and community members in the southeastern Michigan area. She has worked with the US Dept of Education as field reader and served as a Michigan Delegate to the White House Conference on Indian education. Sharon serves on many local boards in her community and is a tremendous advocate for Native issues, |
